I must admit that Dr. Wilson’s story of the death of Moses caught me in the throat and heart. I wept. My heart cried out, "Oh God! I want You to kiss me!"

I cringed, as I read about the Anarchic Leader, the impact of the paragraph fell on me. I am still wallowing under its weight.

This has been a time of deep reflection for me personally as I have considered where we are as a church and where we are going.

The fourth chapter deals with spiritual formation. Each time I read this chapter I am deeply touched. It is one of the best articulated writings on praying in the Spirit that I have found.

I am becoming more aware with each week that this is about more than a scholarly discussion of concepts but life changing actions that no matter how each of us responds what we have encountered here will never leave us.
